Every Attsure policy includes up to one hour with Martello Law on a matter that may give rise to a claim. The excess does not apply. If it proceeds, the same solicitors stay with the file. Brokers and insureds can both follow it in the portal, without waiting on an inbox.

Every Attsure policy includes an Insurance Advisory Service. The insured can call Martello Law for up to one hour of free legal advice on a matter that may give rise to a claim. A complaint, a demand, a letter that does not sit right. The excess does not apply. The point is to get the legal position straight while there is still a chance to stop it becoming a claim.
The advice is part of the cover. It is not billed against the excess, and it does not wait for a claim file to be opened.
A complaint, a demand, a deposit dispute, a letter that does not sit right. The point is to get the legal position straight while there is still a chance to stop it becoming a claim.
If the matter does become a claim, it does not get handed to a new firm. Martello already knows the facts, the wording, and the people involved.
Two matters Martello Law has already helped insureds with, of the kind a broker will recognise. Neither started as a claim file.
A real estate agency was holding a buyer's deposit. The buyer wanted out, alleging they had been misled by the advertising. The vendor refused to return the funds. Legislation stopped the agency releasing the money without matching instructions from both parties. Martello prepared correspondence for the agency to send to both sides, setting out the position on the deposit and answering the misleading-conduct allegations, before a claim was made.
A building and pest inspector was facing a potential claimant over concerns about an inspection. Martello helped the insured respond, including explaining how the relevant Australian Standards operate and what a pre-purchase inspection is actually able to cover. The matter was dealt with at that point, rather than becoming a claim.
Insureds contact Martello Law on +61 7 3222 9402. The extension is for a matter that may give rise to a claim under the policy, not a general legal hotline.

Martello Law handles Attsure claims. The same solicitors who can advise before a claim is made stay with the matter, through coverage, defence and settlement, and through trial when that is the right call. You are not restarting the story with a new firm halfway through.
Martello's solicitors act as coverage counsel and defence counsel on the same file. There is no handoff from a third-party administrator to a panel firm halfway through, and no restarting the story for a new lawyer when the claim turns serious.
Martello's solicitor and claims-admin costs sit inside the model rather than eating the insured's excess. That means an unmeritorious claim can be defended without settling early just to avoid a legal bill. That protects reputation and claims history as much as the cheque book.
Martello specialises in professional indemnity, general liability, IT liability and related financial lines, the same classes on Attsure's platform. Offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne cover Australian jurisdictions.

Once a claim or circumstance is lodged, you can follow it in the portal, next to the policy. Brokers and insureds both have a view. You see enough to know where things stand, and to talk to each other without digging through inboxes. We will not walk you through every field here. The portal is the place for that.
Notify a claim or circumstance through the portal channel that already sits with the policy, rather than hunting for a separate inbox.
Open the matter and follow it as it moves. There is more here than a simple status label. The point is that you are not waiting on someone to remember to update you.
The placing broker stays in the loop. The insured can open the same claim on the client portal. Nobody should feel cut out once the file starts.

These are the positions we have taken in advance, so the answer does not depend on how the month's loss ratio is tracking.
Brokers and clients notify a claim or circumstance through the Attsure portal, on the same policy they already know. Intake captures what Martello Law needs to start, without asking for more upfront than is reasonably required.
You can follow the claim in the portal. Brokers are kept informed of material developments on claims they have placed. The insured can open the same matter on the client portal, so nobody feels cut out once the file starts.
A claim is assessed on its merits against the policy wording. Where cover does not respond, the reasons are explained by reference to the relevant policy terms.
Where a coverage position is taken, whether accepting, declining, or reserving rights, the reasoning is communicated in writing and tied to specific policy provisions. The broker and client get the basis for the decision, not a bare outcome.
Day to day, the job is to make cover understandable before anything goes wrong.
Policies, schedules, and wordings are written in plain English wherever the subject matter allows, with defined terms used consistently. You and the client should be able to read them without decoding them first.
Attsure provides cover summaries alongside the policy so the client can see what is covered, what is not, and how to avoid the situations that lead to a loss or a claim.
